China"s central bank announced Saturday its digital yuan pilot program will be expanded to more domestic cities following its successful operation in recent years. 人民銀行網(wǎng)站4月2日宣布，近年來數(shù)字人民幣試點(diǎn)穩(wěn)妥推進(jìn)，將有序擴(kuò)大試點(diǎn)范圍。

The digital fiat currency, or e-CNY, will be accessible in Tianjin and Chongqing municipalities, Guangzhou in South China"s Guangdong province, Fuzhou and Xiamen in East China"s Fujian province and six cities in East China"s Zhejiang province hosting the 2022 Asian Games, the People"s Bank of China said in a statement. 在現(xiàn)有試點(diǎn)地區(qū)基礎(chǔ)上增加天津市、重慶市、廣東省廣州市、福建省福州市和廈門市、浙江省承辦亞運(yùn)會(huì)的6個(gè)城市作為試點(diǎn)地區(qū)，北京市和河北省張家口市在2022北京冬奧會(huì)、冬殘奧會(huì)場(chǎng)景試點(diǎn)結(jié)束后轉(zhuǎn)為試點(diǎn)地區(qū)。

The country has tested the use of the digital yuan in over 10 places, including Shenzhen, Shanghai and the Xiong"an New Area. Most recently, Beijing and Zhangjiakou were included into the program after tests in the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. 此前，人民銀行已在深圳、雄安、上海等地和2022年北京冬奧會(huì)場(chǎng)景開展數(shù)字人民幣試點(diǎn)。

Digital yuan transactions in China amounted to nearly 87.57 billion yuan by the end of 2021.截至2021年12月31日，數(shù)字人民幣試點(diǎn)交易金額接近875.7億元。

China has unveiled a five-year plan from 2021 to 2025 on developing energy technologies to propel green growth and digital transformation of the energy sector, the National Energy Administration said Saturday. 為推動(dòng)能源行業(yè)綠色發(fā)展和數(shù)字化轉(zhuǎn)型，國(guó)家能源局和科學(xué)技術(shù)部4月2日聯(lián)合印發(fā)《“十四五”能源領(lǐng)域科技創(chuàng)新規(guī)劃》。

The country will focus on developing new technologies to render a more efficient, cost-effective and reliable supply of renewables such as wind, solar, biomass and geothermal energy, according to the plan jointly released by the NEA and the Ministry of Science and Technology. The plan also called for innovation to make nuclear and fossil energy more efficient. 規(guī)劃提出，研發(fā)更高效、更經(jīng)濟(jì)、更可靠的風(fēng)能、太陽(yáng)能、生物質(zhì)能、地?zé)崮芤约昂Ｑ竽艿瓤稍偕茉聪冗M(jìn)發(fā)電及綜合利用技術(shù)，推進(jìn)安全高效核能、綠色高效化石能源開發(fā)利用。

China will pilot regional smart energy systems and apply technologies to traditional energy sectors like coal mining and gasoline production, the plan stated.規(guī)劃提出開展區(qū)域智慧能源系統(tǒng)集成試點(diǎn)示范，推動(dòng)煤炭、油氣等傳統(tǒng)行業(yè)與數(shù)字化、智能化技術(shù)深度融合。

>Committee formed for luxury industry standards中檢協(xié)奢侈品專業(yè)委員會(huì)成立

China has emerged as a major market for new and secondhand luxury products, but a sound industry standard has not been established yet. 中國(guó)躍升為增長(zhǎng)潛力巨大的奢侈品和二手奢侈品主要市場(chǎng)，但是目前尚未建立完善的行業(yè)準(zhǔn)則。

To this end, a professional committee for luxury products was established on March 25 by the China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association. 為此，中國(guó)出入境檢驗(yàn)檢疫協(xié)會(huì)于3月25日成立了奢侈品專業(yè)委員會(huì)。

The committee aims to formulate industry standards and institutionalized communication mechanisms. By gathering experts, appraisal agencies and retailers, the committee hopes to unify appraisal standards and assess the range of valuation of certain products. 奢侈品專業(yè)委員會(huì)將業(yè)內(nèi)專家、鑒定機(jī)構(gòu)和零售商聚集到一起，共同制定行業(yè)規(guī)范，并建立行業(yè)制度化、規(guī)范化的溝通機(jī)制，希望能制定出行業(yè)內(nèi)通用的奢侈品檢驗(yàn)鑒定標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

China has become the largest luxury consumption market globally. 中國(guó)已成為全球最大的奢侈品消費(fèi)市場(chǎng)。

In 2021, sales of personal luxury products in China reached 471 billion yuan, up 36 percent year-on-year, according to a report by consultancy Bain & Co.貝恩咨詢公司的報(bào)告顯示，中國(guó)個(gè)人奢侈品市場(chǎng)2021全年實(shí)現(xiàn)36%的增長(zhǎng)，達(dá)到近4710億元人民幣。

The developing East Asia and Pacific countries are projected to grow by 5 percent in 2022 amid a resurgence of COVID-19, tighter financial conditions and the Russia-Ukraine war, the World Bank said Monday. 世界銀行4月4日在最新的東亞和太平洋地區(qū)經(jīng)濟(jì)形勢(shì)報(bào)告中預(yù)計(jì)，在新冠疫情、俄烏沖突、金融環(huán)境收緊的背景下，今年該地區(qū)發(fā)展中經(jīng)濟(jì)體經(jīng)濟(jì)將增長(zhǎng)5%。

"Shocks emanating from the war in Ukraine and the sanctions on Russia are disrupting the supply of commodities, increasing financial stress, and dampening global growth," the World Bank"s newly released East Asia and Pacific Economic Update read. 報(bào)告稱，俄烏沖突以及對(duì)俄制裁引發(fā)的沖擊正在擾亂大宗商品供應(yīng)，加劇金融壓力，并抑制全球增長(zhǎng)。

"Just as the economies of East Asia and the Pacific were recovering from the pandemic-induced shock, the war in Ukraine is weighing on growth momentum," said World Bank Vice President for East Asia and Pacific Manuela V. Ferro.
